Location and Geographic Information
South Korea is a country that occupies the southern half of the Korean Peninsula in East Asia. South Korea bordered by North Korea from the north, the Korea Strait from the south, as well as, it's surrounded by two seas such as: the Sea of Japan in the east and the Yellow Sea in the west.
Inaddition, South Korea covered 98,480 square kilometers from the Korean Peninsula (Where is South Korea). The geographic coordinates of the country are 37 00N and 127 30E (KOREA, SOUTH).
SouthKorea has a countless sort of topography such as: hills, mountains and large coastal plains. The highest point in South Korea located in Jeju Island, which it’s called Halla-san and it's an extinct volcano (Geography of South Korea).
