South Korea is one of the countries that have a high income and developed country (South Korea: Economy). In the 1970s South Korea's economy was dependent on fishing, which in that year were 750,000 employed on fishing and that number has been decreased in 1999 to 315,000 people, because of the growth in the service sector (Where is South Korea). In addition, according to BBCnews South Korea's economy in 2015 has grown 2.6% in the third quarter of the year, which was more than they estimated or expected (South Korean economic growth). South Korea economy has growth and development because of the exports of manufactured goods. An example of it is the Korean manufacturing conglomerates, which known as chaebol such as: Samsung, LG, Hyundai and Kia (Korea - Country Profiles).
